Philippe Murphy’s work encompasses live performance, sculpture and video. His installations often resemble theatrical stage sets or props that are designed to inhabit a range of actions and scenarios that activate their surroundings. In this work ‘Order this/ Disorder’ he is examining some of his own neuroses by employing psychoanalytical ideas like free association and the gaze.
